Influence Communications created and executed the media and public relations campaign that led to the voter approval of the bond to modernize Jackson Health System, approved by Miami-Dade voters in November 2013. The campaign included working in conjunction with the JHS Communications Director to create  communications plan to relay the message to the public as to the urgency and importance of the Jackson renovations.  The communication plan included creating a messaging calendar, creating issue-specific messaging, scheduling interviews with Jackson executives, doctors, nurses, first-responders and patients, planning and executing press conferences, and handling daily media calls. Hundreds of media calls were answered, dozens of interviews scheduled, and daily television, radio and print stories were executed in English and Spanish outlets. This meticulous and diligently executed plan led to the approval of the multi-million dollar bond by the vast majority of the voters of Miami-Dade County, even in times of economic hardship.
