A passionate communications strategist with five generations of roots in the City of Miami, Kathryn Moore’s ability to understand and communicate across a vast list of personal contacts makes her an invaluable asset to any local communications strategy.
Renown internationally for her award-winning work with the City of Miami, Kathryn has been a featured speaker and author on the power of creative community engagement events to bring life to urban cores in general and specifically, Downtown Miami. She has spoken at conferences in over a dozen cities in five countries.
Kathryn understands that South Florida is a unique place and it presents the opportunity for unique approaches to engaging media markets both local and global. She has worked on public engagement, media relations, events and strategic communications campaigns in the United States for a diversity of select clientele, including Florida East Coast Industries, Trek Bicycle, the American Diabetes Association, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Simon Malls and other small businesses and organizations.
Kathryn has also provided her marketing skills in Italy. Her Italian clients have included Castello Romitorio Vineyards (Montalcino and Scansano), Scuola di lingua Italiana Villa Dante (Tropea) and La Munizione (Tropea).
Kathryn was recognized among the “Best in Miami” by Miami Today News in 2009 for her work in improving the ‘Quality of Life’ in Downtown Miami. Kathryn is a graduate of the Miami Foundation’s Miami Fellows Program. She has been actively involved with several local non-profits, including Bay Oaks (current board member), the Miami Woman’s Club (former board member), the South Florida Bike Coalition (former director) and the New Leaders Council – Broward County Chapter (founding chair).
